One of the being physics! I couldn’t stand physics at school!
The reason being is I like to get to the source and knowledge becomes purer as you follow this…
Sociology is applied psychology.
Psychology is applied biology.
Biology is applied chemistry.
Chemistry is applied physics.
To go to the purest field you actually end up at mathematics!
Kinda makes sense why Albert Einstein was genius in physics and mathematics and also accredited with being a philosopher.
And if you’re wondering, Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language
I like to study this stuff because so many of the laws enable me to understand from a scientific perspective how we operate which lead me to being able to grow myself and others faster.
When it comes to improving ourselves Newtons 3 Laws of Motion (physics) applies very well…
- Every object in a state of uniform motion will remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it.
- Force = mass x acceleration.
- For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Take law 1 into a psychological perspective, if you don’t change then you will always get what you’ve always got.
“A body in motion stays in motion, but a body in rest stays at rest.”
But the requirement is for an external force to drive that change.
Sometimes that ‘external force’ can be external circumstances that are so far from our internal belief blueprint of how things ‘should’ be (you know because of The Rift emotions you will feel, stress, overwhelm, frustration, depression, anxiety, being unfulfilled etc) that it triggers us to change.
I personally think one of the best ways to get that ‘external force’ is with a coach, it certainly can be more pleasurable than waiting until the above happens!
The ‘force’ being strategic intervention (a couple of fancy words for questions to get you to think differently.)
